Clinical Apprentice
Desirae has been a dedicated herbal student for six years studying with various enriching programs and courses through David Winston’s Center for Herbal Studies and Wild Rose College of Herbal Medicine. She has completed 2220 Educational Hours and over 700 Supervised Clinical Hours in her training.
As she approaches her final stages of her formal education and training as a clinical herbal student, she continues to enhance her clinical skills and herbal knowledge by working as a Clinical Apprentice under the mentorship of Colleen Emery, RH BCHA. Throughout her journey, Desirae has gained invaluable insights from many mentors and fellow students, developing a comprehensive understanding of herbal medicine. She has received extensive clinical training focused on holistic-client-centered care. She aspires to establish a clinical practice and become a Registered Clinical Herbalist and a member of esteemed professional associations including BCHA, AHA and AHG.
Desirae is passionate about being part of a collaborative wellness team that empowers individuals to navigate their unique health journeys. Desirae aims to provide tailored treatment protocols that incorporate nutrition, lifestyle changes, and customized herbal remedies to enhance overall health and well-being. She is committed to making meaningful contributions while upholding the highest standards and values that Emery Herbals represents within the valley and the herbal community.
With a joyful spirit, Desirae embraces a heart-centered approach to life, strengthening her connection to nature, plant medicine and herbal medicine making. She views herbalism as a lifelong journey of learning and is dedicated to becoming a skilled and proficient herbal clinician.
