Its been such a very long time since I have updated, thank you to all of you that are still keeping a watchful eye my little space of the ‘nets. We have so much catching up to do! How has everyone been? Its been a rocky ride for this Mountain family but we are recovering and healing and moving forward. In the days, weeks, months to come I hope to share all things herbal, homesteading and homeschooling, so please stay tuned.
Its the Virgo New Moon today and the pickle and I begin another year of schooling. This year we are taking a slightly different approach and are very excited about it. We are following a Waldorf approach to schooling a little more closely this time. Today is our first day and each day we light our candle and say our verse together. This is our verse we chose today, even though its absolutely pouring today!!
We are truthful and helpful
And loving in trust
For our heart’s inner sun
Glows brightly in us.
We will open our hearts
To the sunbeams so bright
And we’ll fill all the world
With our heart’s inner light.
