Yesterday was Pickle’s last class of Drama for this semester. What a wonderful class it was, held at a historical theatre here in the big City. It was a beginners drama exploration class specifically held for home-schoolers. A really interesting group of children were involved including three sets of twins! How unique. Part of the program was to collectively, as a group, write and perform a play for the hand selected audience (aka parents and friends). The morning of the play over breakfast I asked the Pickle how she was feeling and she proclaimed “I feel very nervous but I know I am gonna do great!”. I am constantly blown away by her moxie. The play was amazing. It was wonderful to see such creative ideas come to fruition. I truly enjoyed it.

In other schooling news we received our homeschool progress report from our Fall visit with our facilitator. Such things like this matter to me, linear thinker I am. Its great to have such positive feedback. All that we are doing was deemed appropriate methodology in creating a successful schooling year. Our learning plan was described as ‘inspiring’. I am so happy. So relieved as well as sometimes I feel like I am walking through such unchartered territory for our family. In the end of the day it seems as though its a path that is pre-told and again the lesson is to trust.
