Balm of Gilead

The aroma from the buds of the cottonwood tree are unmistakable. The sticky resins are either the bane or the bounty of folks who live with these trees. We harvest these buds in the cold, darkness of the middle of winter and slow extract them in sunflower and olive oil yielding a dark, red, deeply healing oil. This oil is used in several of our preparations as well as for client custom formulas.

Contains: Beeswax, unbleached Vitellaria paradoxa (shea Butter), Helianthus annuus (sunflower oil), Olea europaea (extra virgin olive oil) and Populus canadensis (poplar buds) provided in a 40 gram tin.

Suggested Use: Apply a quarter size amount topically to address a variety of concerns: dry and sore skin, stiff and injured muscles, rashes, wounds, swellings, bug bites, abrasions, burns.
