So I am relatively new to the blogosphere. Its exciting to me that I end up in a google search and that people read my posts because of links from other blogs or other people. I know this isn’t new to a lot of you but I am having a blast with this! Most recently a member of my “real life posse*” and blog star Jenn Chic asked me if she could interview me for a gig she had with a Vancouver based online site called Ethical Deal. The result is here. How fun was that? We both live in other places now, me in the country, Jenn in the city, but we still co-created a little gem. Now its on the ‘nets being linked and such. I am such a newbie, this stuff is so much fun! Thanks Jenn for the great opportunity!
Another big opportunity that came my way this past week was to be interviewed by the local valley paper, The Valley Voice. For those who have kept up with us over the past, well, 10 years, we have been coming out here frequently and as often as we can in preparation for our big move. A large part of our success in finding out about the valley and its uniqueness came from reading this paper. When we would make our way back to the city we would read the paper online and keep up to date. Now that we are here full time we value the paper just as much. When I had the chance to do an article in the paper I grabbed it. How fun it was to answer the reporter’s questions and really explore where I am at and how I got here! The paper will have the current issue uploaded later today and I will post a link to that as soon as its active.
